The International Criminal Court at the Hague, has issued arrest warrants for the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant for war crimes in Gaza. It also issued an arrest warrant for Hamas leader Mohammed Deif who Israel says it killed, back in July.
Former Israeli Justice Minister Yossi Beilin says that the ICC’s request to issue arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Defence Minister Yoav Gallant and Hamas military commander Mohammed Deif was unbalanced and unfair.

The resolutions, totaling $1 billion, failed despite representing only a small fraction of the $20 billion in weapons the Biden administration has proposed sending to Israel. The vote was the first ever in Congress regarding blocking a weapons transfer to Israel.
