“In Gaza, Israeli attacks have continued as summer temperatures topped 30 degrees and Palestinians there once more struggle with shortages of water. Al Jazeera’s Ibrahim al-Khalili filed this report from Gaza City.

For the hundreds of thousands of people spending a third summer in displacement camps here, the heat is making already dire conditions even worse. Finding clean water to stay hydrated is no longer a guarantee. People have to wait in line for it.

One man told us that when he found water while digging a well near his tent, it felt like a divine intervention.

I dug about five meters underground, expecting the water to be salty since we’re only 20 meters from the sea. But by God’s grace, it was a miracle. The water was fresh and clean, enough for my family, other displaced people, and all our daily needs, from bathing to washing dishes and laundry.”

In an interview with Sky News Arabia, Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) supported Israel’s genocide in Gaza, comparing it to what the United States and its allies did to their enemies during World War II. “Just flatten it. We flattened Berlin. We flattened Tokyo,” he said.

🎥 Israeli forces kill at least seven Palestinians in latest attacks on Gaza

Israeli air strikes have hit multiple sites across the Gaza Strip, including a workshop on Al Sina'a Street struck twice in one day, killing at least seven Palestinians.

Among the dead is an eight-year-old girl shot by Israeli forces at a tent encampment in the Al Maghazi refugee camp.

Residents describe fleeing repeated strikes with nowhere safe to go, as Gaza's collapsed civil defence and medical systems leave fires unextinguished and the wounded without adequate care.

More than 1,000 Palestinians have been killed since the October ceasefire took effect.
