βAs Israelβs war on Gaza continues, weβre coming to you on Sundays with a weekly roundup. This week, 249 days into a ceasefire, Israel has killed at least 951 Palestinians in Gaza.
Israel attacks tent camp in Gaza City. 100 days since US and Israel launched war on Iran. Israel continues to strike Lebanon despite ceasefire.
Todayβs Sunday, June 7th, Israel has killed at least 72,961 Palestinians in Gaza since October 7th, 2023. Israel attacked a tent camp in Gaza City on Saturday, killing at least 7 Palestinians and wounding many more. The attack comes just before scheduled meetings in Egypt on the full implementation of the US-brokered Gaza ceasefire agreement.
Al Jazeeraβs Ahani Mahmoud reports from Gaza City.
A father and his son were targeted by a drone missile as they were walking outside of their displacement site near Salah al-Dinur. Now, this area is adjacent to whatβs been described so far as the yellow line where the Israeli military have been aggressively operating in this area, trying to clear it from not just the physical structure, but also from people who have no other, no elsewhere to stay. And Gaza has been shrinking over and over, giving the expansion of the yellow line.
They were transported to a Shifa hospital. And by the time they got there, they were already pronounced dead. There are several other injuries reported.
This attack happened just within a couple of hours of an attack here in the heart of Gaza City, right in the middle of an honorable complex here, a honorable school complex, a displacement site where a tent was targeted by two drone missiles next to a tent where there had been a wedding going on at that moment.β

π₯ 100 DAYS | Trump: βWe won the - in the first hour, it was over.β | Lebanon burns | Israel shooting
George Galloway | Jun 7, 2026
One hundred days of boasts, bloodshed and unfinished business.
Trump claims the war was won βin the first hourβ, but Lebanon is burning, Israel is reeling from another shooting and the wider conflict remains unresolved. Victory has been declared, yet the consequences keep mounting.

βTim, how do we combat this rise of effectively racism within the UK? And just letβs run through this. In the 17s and 80s, it was racism against the Irish.
Then in the 80s and 90s, it was racist against the Afro-Caribbean community, the Asian community. Then in the 2000s, it was racism against Muslims. And then it was in the 2010s, it was racism against Polish immigrants, Czech immigrants, Romanian immigrants coming into the UK.
And now we seem to be having a system that only focuses on immigration and therefore racism. So how do we stop that?
Well, to some extent, people might argue that weβve come full circle in the sense that the racism on display now has more in common with perhaps what we saw in the 1970s and 1980s when we had the National Front and then the BNP. Look, I donβt think we want to paint too bleak a picture of the UK because if you look at the research on public opinion and coming from, for example, the, you know, the Natsen British Social Attitude Survey, actually the number of people who discriminate on the grounds of race who have very strong racial prejudices have really shrunk over time. Thereβs a small hardcore of people, maybe somewhere between 5 and 10% of people who have still those, what you might call, anti-deluvian attitudes, those very ethno-nationalist attitudes who believe that you can only be a British person if you are white.
The majority of people, I think, have moved on from that. But those people, you know, they represent a certain section of the community. They do need to be represented politically.
And clearly, there are some politicians willing to do that.β

Such a nightmare! And so little reported by western media. I wonder how many people think there's an actual ceasefire. How is the world so uncaring?
Najwan, thank you, as usual. I hope you get a good sleep tonight. Take care, my friend.
