I hope the Republicans self-destruct with their infighting, and I hope that the Democrats re-invent themselves into a party that condemns genocide, stands up for the rights of ordinary people and pursues peace. They remind me of the Liberals and Conservatives here in Canada, basically one party with slight differences to make it look like we're living in a democracy with real choices.
