Food availability!
siege within siege,
conduit, catastrophe,
trapped, starved,
true, North,

food, water,
sanitation, power,
medical, consumables,
sniper, aim,
fleeing feet,
(self-defense,
bullshit goes..)
The Israeli army launched a ground assault again in northern Gaza 12 days ago. Backed by warplanes, the army has continued to pound the ravaged area that has seen multiple attacks throughout the yearlong war.
More than 400,000 Palestinians remain trapped in the area, unable to move southwards because of the deadly ground incursion.
Food affordability!
lack the means,
employment,
cash savings,
possessions,
economy collapse,
Israelβs assault,
cardinal exchange,
barter till,
ebb away,
dwell apart,
departed, brave
Convincing shadows,
on a screen,
born to be,

punctuated,
willingly,
contract entered,
cold-blooded,
poison shortcuts,
masses, tucked,
already planning,
next collection..

Anderson told reporters that there are about 470,000 people still in the north of the Strip. There are about 170,000 people in the north primarily in Jabalia. Since September 30, only 12 trucks of food have made it to the population in the north. In the south of the Strip in the declared humanitarian zone, there are about 1.4 million people in a very small space.
The UNRWA official reiterated the need to have a corresponding number of trucks that come in from the private sector. He said, βThe things the UN doesn't do that the private sector does very well. We don't bring in fresh fruit and vegetables, we don't bring in eggs, we don't bring in meat, we don't bring in a lot of things. We bring in large staple items. That's our value added. And the value added for the private sectors, they do everything else, and they do it. They do it very well.β

π First European Union-Gulf Cooperation Council Summit - Joint Statement | Oct 16, 2024
Leaders agreed to hold the summit every two years, with the next meeting to take place in Saudi Arabia in 2026.
Prominent figures at the summit included Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The UAE delegation was led by Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance and First Deputy Ruler of Dubai.
While most EU leaders were in attendance, notable absentees included German chancellor Olaf Scholz, and the leaders of Austria, Slovakia, Denmark and Poland. A group photo, initially planned for 3pm, was delayed by nearly three hours due to the late arrival of French President Emmanuel Macron.
The right to food, which can also be characterized as a right to culturally appropriate nutrition that a person needs to live a healthy and active life, is recognized in the UNβs 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights and is enshrined in the 1966 International Covenant on Economic, Social and Cultural Rights. However, it has not historically been a mainstream concept in the US.
In 2021, the US and Israel were the only countries to vote against a United Nations committeeβs draft that asserted food as a human right. The draft also expressed alarm that the number of people lacking access to adequate food rose by 320 million to 2.4 billion in 2020 β nearly one-third of the worldβs population. The US said the resolution contained βmany unbalanced, inaccurate, and unwise provisions the United States cannot supportβ.

World Food Day feels like another slap in the face to Gaza.
May food and water and medical supplies get into Gaza, and especially into the north.
Take good care, Najwan.
Hey! It's too bad empty words aren't EDIBLE!! Or messages, or reports, or briefings!! Or situation updates, or meetings, or remarks, or statements!! Or proclamations, or resolutions, or studies!! Or rhetoric - ESPECIALLY empty rhetoric!! Oh boy, THEN we'd have no more hunger!! Then there'd be enough for every man, woman and child on the planet to be full!! Full! Satisfied!! Wow!!
