I started my Substack publication a year ago today, March 14, 2024.
Did not imagine I would still be pleading a world, one year later, 526 days of US-backed Israel genocidal war, against my own, to simply, stop, slaughtering us.
And more than the ache and disappointment that is my everyday, my heart weighs heavy knowing my parents are re-living the nightmare. Because almost 80 years later, just being Palestinian, is crime enough, for all of you.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has called envoy Ebrahim Rasool a โrace-baiting politicianโ who hates the US and President Donald Trump.
โSouth Africaโs Ambassador to the United States is no longer welcome in our great country,โ Rubio said in a post on social media platform X.
โWe have nothing to discuss with him and so he is considered PERSONA NON GRATA,โ Rubio said.

QUESTION: The Trump Administration is expected to invoke the Alien Enemies Act of 1798. Have to dust that off; a lot of people not familiar with it. Can you help us understand how the Trump Administration plans to use these powers?
SECRETARY RUBIO: Well, those are โ thatโs a question for DHS. Itโs not a question for us. What I can tell you is, from our perspective, unrelated to that, is that we will continue to look for people that we would never have allowed into this country on student visas had we known they were going to do what theyโve done. But now that theyโve done it, weโre going to get rid of them. And we are continuing to look for that, and so in the days to come, you should expect more visas will be revoked as we identify people that we should never have allowed in because they lied to us.
When they said they were coming here to be students, they didnโt say they were coming here to occupy university buildings and vandalize them and tear them apart, and hold campuses hostage. If they had told us that, we would never have given them a student visa. Now that theyโve done it, we will revoke those visas. And as the days go on, every time we have a chance to revoke them, we will, because itโs not in the national interest of the United States for them to be here.

The U.S. and Israel have reached out to officials of three East African governments to discuss using their territories as potential destinations for moving Palestinians uprooted from the Gaza Strip under President Donald Trumpโs proposed postwar plan, American and Israeli officials told The Associated Press.

As for Ebrahim Rasool, it is simple, the fact that Rubio thing doesn't like him means he is a good guy.
