There is something significantly broken in this world where on this day, Sunday November 24, 2024, we too mark, 415 unrelenting genocide days..
Staged, managed,
optically-illusioned,
“United States democracy”
in the Middle East,
here’s the cliff notes..
you failed!
you fail!
you’re still,
(only) failing!
and this ridiculous..
strategy of bombing?
your way to peace?!
de-escalation?
through escalation?!
some of the biggest!
ball-sack bullshit!
heard all year!
can you get?
the f*ck out?
of our sandbox yet?
Released doctors, nurses and paramedics described to Human Rights Watch their mistreatment in Israeli custody, including humiliation, beatings, forced stress positions, prolonged cuffing and blindfolding, and denial of medical care. They also reported torture, including rape and sexual abuse by Israeli forces, denial of medical care, and poor detention conditions for the general detainee population.
“The Israeli government’s mistreatment of Palestinian healthcare workers has continued in the shadows and needs to immediately stop,” said Balkees Jarrah, acting Middle East director at Human Rights Watch. “The torture and other ill-treatment of doctors, nurses, and paramedics should be thoroughly investigated and appropriately punished, including by the International Criminal Court (ICC).”
That means you, U.S.A.!
take your little,
dirty, proxy,
right, back,
with ya 🫡

The total number of arrests in the occupied West Bank, including East Jerusalem, has amounted to more than 11,800, according to the Commission of Detainees Affairs, the Addameer Prisoner Support and Human Rights Association, and the Palestinian Prisoner’s Society.
Since October 7, 2023, there have been near-daily Israeli raids, the groups said in a statement, adding that there are:
11,000 people in administrative detention (held without trial or charge)
136 journalists who have been arrested, 59 of whom remain in detention
at least 775 children and 435 women who have been detained
45 detainees who have died in Israeli prisons and military camps
The groups said that the highest number of arrests were carried out in Hebron and Jerusalem.

Israel said on Sunday an Israeli-Moldovan rabbi and former soldier who went missing in the United Arab Emirates was murdered, in what it called an act of "antisemitic terrorism".
"The intelligence and security authorities in the United Arab Emirates have located the body of Tzvi Kogan, who had been missing since Thursday, November 21," the prime minister's office and the foreign ministry said in a joint statement.
"The murder of Tzvi Kogan, of blessed memory, is a heinous act of antisemitic terrorism," it said, adding that Israel would do everything in its power "to ensure that justice is served and that those responsible for his death are held accountable."
And so whilst Israel’s busy issuing warnings to avoid all non-essential travel to the UAE and advising its citizens there to take extra precautions…
I myself really ought to start packing!
I fly to Dubai early next week to see my family 🤓
Kogan was an emissary for the ultra-Orthodox Chabad Hasidic movement in the UAE. According to Israeli outlet Ynet, he had previously served as a soldier in the Israeli army's Givati Brigade, whose members have been carrying out deadly military operations in the Gaza Strip since October 7 last year.
He was also an aide to Rabbi Levi Duchman, the chief rabbi of the UAE, who controversially normalized ties with Israel in late 2020.
Oh, U.S.A and Israel,
you are no-one’s crush,
you airbrush us,
hush our truth,
plush, flush,
gold rush us,
recipe for,
your profits,
our lives
Enough with the stale-plot already…
“The government has unanimously approved the appointment of Dr Yechiel Leiter as ambassador to the United States,” the foreign ministry said in a statement.
A former adviser to Netanyahu, Leiter, 65, is originally from the United States and currently lives in a settlement in the occupied West Bank.
Close to the US Republican Party, Leiter used to be one of the leaders of the Yesha Council, an umbrella group representing Israeli settlers in the West Bank in the 1990s.
He is also a member of Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu’s Likud Party and currently works as a strategic adviser to Israeli think tanks.
His son, Moshe Leiter, was killed in combat in November 2023 in the Gaza Strip.
Yechiel Leiter will take on the ambassador role after Trump’s inauguration next year, succeeding Mike Herzog, President Isaac Herzog’s brother, who was appointed in 2021.
And a future,
less crippled, stained,
your selfish disdain..
Increased nutrition following a prolonged period of starvation can result in refeeding syndrome. Refeeding syndrome is defined as medical complications that result from fluid and electrolyte shifts as a result of aggressive nutritional rehabilitation. The refeeding syndrome commonly occurs in populations at high risk for malnutrition, ranging from patients with eating disorders to renal failure patients on hemodialysis. Metabolic disturbances manifest in cardiopulmonary, hematologic, and neurological dysfunction in these types of patients. Hypophosphatemia is a hallmark of refeeding syndrome; however, other electrolyte irregularities may include but are not limited to decreased amounts of magnesium, potassium, and thiamine.
Despite the long-standing recognition of refeeding syndrome as a serious clinical complication with a high mortality rate that requires immediate medical intervention, high-quality scientific evidence on the etiology and management of refeeding syndrome is limited. Historically, early descriptions of this phenomenon date to documentation from World War II when individuals living during the famine unexpectedly became ill following nutritional reconstitution. In 1951, Schnitker et al reported that one-fifth of Japanese prisoners starved in prison camps died suddenly after nutritional and vitamin replenishment.
And in the strive for honest words,
I do declare Israel, you’re coming off,
quite the primitive fascist dictator…

🎥 Israel sanctions Haaretz: Govt says publication hurts the State of Israel
Al Jazeera English | Nov 24, 2024
Israel's government has approved sanctions on the country's oldest newspaper, Haaretz. It's Communication Minister says that the publication hurts the legitmacy of the State of Israel and its quote “right to defend itself.” The decision came after Haaretz publisher, Amos Schocken, critiqued Netanyahu's treatment of Palestinian freedom fighters. Haaretz says the action is an attempt to silence a critical and independent newspaper.
But in the realm, positive things,
I share more.. jovial notes…

Nynke Brett, 53, who lives in Hackney, east London, discovered Gaza Cola while attending a cultural event at Palestine House. “It’s not as fizzy as Coke. It’s smoother, easier on the palate,” she says. “And it tastes even better because you’re supporting Palestine.”
Qashoo created Gaza Cola for several reasons, he says, but “number one was to boycott companies that support and fuel the Israeli army and support the genocide” in Gaza. Another reason: “To find a guilt-free, genocide-free kind of taste. The real taste of freedom.”

Asli Ana paints a thought-provoking question, one that poses a prime issue in today’s era. Opting to elevate rather than satiate the masses, Zeyne colours the song with a ringing theme: a call to reawaken. Asking the question, “Why have global norms been allowed to define the Arab identity?” The pop singer invites you to listen, reflect and retrospect on self-definition.
“This track is about rejecting what’s expected of us,” Zeyne explains. “It’s about owning who we are, without compromise.”

Hi Najwan,
I love the last video you shared. My Dad and my Mom's parents immigrated to Canada, and I've lost their languages because they were shamed -- not English. And I feel like there's a part of me missing.
And now, looking at what the west supports, why would anyone want to be part of this stinking culture? Yes, there are some good people, but so much of it makes me sick, especially the complicity in genocide, the lying about the reasons for all its wars, and its conceit.
As usual, I wish so much for the killing to stop.
Safe travels next week, and I hope you're having a relaxing Sunday, Najwan.♥️🍉🙏🏼
