I told you about the United States, how it has always been toward Palestine. But I couldn't quite believe that inhumanity would be tried for a laugh line from those Golden Girls, moving "desert people" into ice and snow. Also the swing at Greenland, "there's nothing there." US supremacy, US "exceptionalism" and conceit is born of the mother's milk here. You don't even actually have to verbalize it or teach it; it's in the DNA. I swear people are born with it here; it's why they don't question even script lines. But I find it hard that those four old ladies would have been so insensitive as to not reject that poor taste scripting. It didn't even have room within the plot line of their own character existences. Made zero sense, except if it was just a political throw away line of the time cast out by some writer's attitude.
